Fermentation workshop

  • you will get to taste dairy and non-dairy milk Kefir and Kefir smoothie, water Kefir and Kombucha and their different flavours. You will also try Kimchi, Sauerkraut and fermented vegetables and hummus and Sourdough bread.
  • I will show you how to make it all and tell you how else you can use these products and how to make Kefir cheese.
  • I will demonstrate how to make a Sauerkraut
  • Notes from the workshop will also be available
  • The workshop lasts about 2 hours.
  • All this for just £30. To book a place £5 deposit is required.
  • Cultures will be available for purchase as well.

Sourdough bread workshop

Making my own Sourdough bread was always daunting task for me. I was thinking its too complicated and time consuming. When I started the Fermentation I have learned the health benefits of Sourdough and decided to give it go.
I only wish I would have had the opportunity to go to a workshop to learn it all. Instead I went through many failed attempts of Sourdough bread making that help me to understand the whole process to finally make it perfect. Now I am ready to pass on my experience on to you. Trust me once you know what you are doing its easy and IT’S NOT time consuming at all. Anybody can fit in their busy lives and enjoy the health benefits and great smell of freshly baked bread.

  • I will tell you how to look after your starter.
  • You will be shown all stages of dough making including turning the dough in bulk proving.
  • You will learn how to pre shape your dough and then shaping it yourself.
  • Then take your dough home to bake it next day.
  • You will receive Sourdough bread recipe and instructions how to look after your starter via email after the workshop.
  • You will also take an established starter home so you can carry on Sourdough making forever.
  • All this for just £30. To book your place £5 deposit is required.
Both workshops are held in Bristol BS4 5DP. The address and more info will be given when you pay the deposit. You can pay the deposit via bank transfer. More info will be given once you contact me.
The workshops are usually once or twice a month on Friday at 6.30pm.
Workshops can also be booked privately for groups of min of 5 people on a different day like the weekend.
